In the afternoon of July 18^th, 2009, along with the Chairman. Mr. Dai Guoliang, and the Vice President , Mr. Ma Ruidong, of Centron Telecommunication, Miss Du Ming, the Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department of Fujian Province, Doctor Ling Baoshu, the Director of Information and Communication Department of Industrial Technology Research Institute with the accompanying visitors (main force of institute and entrepreneurs ) arrived Hi-technical Park, the production base of Centron Telecom in Quanzhou, for visiting showroom and production workshop. Visitors also offered their compliments to the Company’s R&D in technology and production techniques.

In the later symposium, participants took a further conversation on their respective service areas and the long term development vision , meanwhile discussed and acquired common view on cooperation and application of Wimax technology in Quanzhou. Besides, in the conference, Miss Du Ming encouraged visitors in delegation to set up partnership with enterprises in Fujian Mobile Communication Industry Union and wireless telecommunication system providers. She also expected substantive  cooperation with Taiwan compatriots for making contribution to economic development of the western coastal area.

Leader of Centron thought that this visitation has not only promoted the communication industry development in both sides of Taiwan Strait, but also speeded up the cooperation in technology and marketing among  Centron, Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute and Taiwan Mobile Communication Union. He also believed that it will be another historical turning point for making brilliance of the Company.

The setting up of the Fujian Mobile Communication Industry Union was approved by relevant authorities in  Fujian Province on May 19^th, 2009. The union is a provincial social group made up of enterprises, research units and universities in mobile communication industrial chain. It is guided by the Information Industry Department of Fujian Province. At present, the first batch of members includes over 20 telecommunication enterprises and universities, such as Centron Communications Technologies Fujian Co., Ltd and etc.

To exploit the advantages of the general membership, the  union is actively promoting  oversea investment , take attention in connection of industrial chain with industrial shifting, realize resource division and convergence with technology cooperation, core technology development and public platform, realize sharing of intellectual property rights for speeding up commercial application of technology achievement. On the other side, the union is offering personnel  support for innovation by providing personnel  training and deployment, and enhancing cooperation with intra-industry organizations at home and abroad . The aim of the union is to promote exchange of communication industry in both sides of Taiwan Strait and make contribution to construction of western coastal economic area.

    Founded in 1973, the Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute is the biggest research organization in Taiwan, which is also the pioneer in starting up the semiconductor industry in Taiwan . It set up the first 4 inch wafer integrated circuits demonstration plant and achieved research of the first IC chip. Since its foundation, it plays an  extremely important role in introducing technology, training personnel, offering information, deriving  enterprises, producing achievement, providing technical services and technology transfer . For its importance in training, it is called ”the Maker of General Manager in Taiwan”, due to the reason that there are over 15,000 employees in enterprises coming  from the Institute, and most of them are at the helm of the Taiwan economy.
